Our studies in Judges this month will cover the end of Jephthah’s life, examine three minor judges, then move into the life of Samson, one of the Bible’s most fascinating characters. He was flamboyant and unpredictable, but he was a real judge called of God, and we must not let his flaws obscure the fact that God was working in him to deliver Israel.

Many of Samson’s struggles stemmed from improper relationships with women, so we will take time this month to consider the Bible’s view of marriage using Dr. R.C. Sproul’s teaching series Christian Marriage.
