No Place for Truth by David F. Wells
In this classic work, Dr. David Wells looks at modern evangelicalism and observes how it has been taken captive by the culture with respect to notions of truth. Instead of faithfully teaching the Word of God and its theology, many evangelical churches have substituted therapeutic approaches to ministry, leaving their members ill equipped to deal with the various ungodly worldviews embraced in the West. Wells calls the church to recover its divinely given vocation of making disciples of Christ according to the Word of God and training them to think God’s thoughts after Him.
Total Truth by Nancy Pearcey
Nancey Pearcey looks at the current divide between private and public religion, noting that the culture’s drive to relegate religious belief and action merely to private spaces is contrary to the Christian view of truth. She calls believers to apply the Christian worldview to both public and private life.
The Moment of Truth by Steven J. Lawson
Dr. Steven Lawson considers what the Bible has to say about the nature of truth and our need to judge all things according to the Word of God. He exhorts Christians to unashamedly stand on and proclaim the truth of the Lord.
