THIS MONTH

We sail into the deep waters of Romans 9 in July. In this great chapter is found some of Scripture’s most profound theology. Paul teaches on the doctrines of election and reprobation, touching on the reasons God does not save all men.

We have seen that election is a subset of predestination, God’s determination of the ultimate destiny of all men. The content of this chapter bears heavily on this controversial doctrine, so we will detour from Romans at the end of the month to consider it more closely with the help of Dr. R.C. Sproul’s teaching series “Predestination.”
