Hope becomes reality this month as the Israelites begin to receive their allotments of land in Canaan. The “inheritance” promised to Abraham so long before now comes to his descendants according to God’s design.
First, however, Caleb claims the land promised him by Moses, asking for the region inhabited by the giants who terrified his fellow scouts decades before.
